In this course, students will learn how to design and create handmade silk scarves good enough to sit on any self at any high-end boutique. At the end of this course, student will have created 3 silk scarves. Two of them will be created using a sewing machine and the third will be created by using the age-old technique of a hand-rolled hem. This technique can be found on any quality constructed scarf. Many of the elements that will be learned during this course may be applied to clothing construction also.
