What's New

On October 1st 2004, 217 Bank Street became our new home. We doubled our store size and added a classroom. The main floor of our store features silks, notions, buttons and the classroom. The second floor features wools, linens, cottons and our Kravet library of home decorating textiles.

Kravet Collection

We have decided to carry exclusively the line of Kravet Home Decorating Textiles. We have the catalogues for Kravet Basics, Kravet Couture, Kravet Design and Ralph Lauren. Customers can order as little as 1 yard of any of their textiles.

Sewing Courses

Since January 2005, we have been giving sewing courses. Some of the projects offered are Pillow Making, Curtain Making, Table Runners and Napkins, Designer Skirt, Tailored Shirt and Silk Scarf. Since the introduction of these courses, they have been filled as fast as they were posted! All courses are now booked up until the end of April. The new course schedule will be posted at the end of March.

Buttons

We have added another section to our button wall and we are adding new styles weekly! Last year we had 40,000 buttons at inventory time...let's see this year.

Artworks

We now carry a selected number of artworks in the store. They are hung throughout the store and add to the new ambiance. If you are looking for that special piece of art, at a reasonable price, we have a catalogue that you may browse through at your leisure. Artworks that are ordered will arrive in the store in approximately 6 - 8 weeks. Browse the Accessories section of our catalog to view some of the artworks currently on display in our store.
